At the general membership meeting of the Pro 4 Modifieds on November 23, 2008, the membership by unanimous vote adopted the fight against breast cancer as the official charity of the Pro 4 Modifieds. At the 4 Cylinder Nationals on August 2, 2009 at the Beechridge Motor Speedway we will culminate our breast cancer fundraising campaign with a walk-a-thon from 9-11 AM around the 1/3 mile Beechridge Motor Speedway, and following a great day of racing our final event will be a powder puff race by the family members of the Pro 4's using the Pro 4 Modifieds. We are happy to have Kelley Tuthill, a breast cancer survivor, and reporter for WCVB Channel 5 Boston as our ambassador for this event. Kelley recently invited some of our drivers to participate in a group photo on the set of channel 5 in boston.
